Seller: 20ebuy10 (240) 100%, Location: Cumming, Georgia, Ships to: US & many other countries, Item: 253058877471 Country/Region of Origin: England, Age: 1825, Maker: Unknown, Primary Material: Pottery, Original/Reproduction: Original, Details: It is very hard to identify this type of ware to a specific maker, since there were many that may have produced this very popular ware. This mug, in my opinion, could have been produced by Sunderland. The bottom has a white glaze like the body, instead of the typical copper luster glaze. It also has a not often found printed back-stamp in block letters "LOUIS XV". This mug may have been produced for the French market. The condition is very good with slight and typical surface wear to the hand painted double leaf pink boarder and hand painted multi-colored floral band. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or restoration. There is slight toning to the inside the mug. I would put the date of this mug around 1825. Size: Base diameter about 3 1/4" Top diameter about 3 1/2" Overall width 4 3/8" Height about 3 1/4" **Please carefully review photos to confirm condition and description.
