Description

This scarce figural napkin ring shows a child training a dog to sit.  I understand it was modeled after the Victorian boys and girls who were featured and illustrated in children's books and Valentine cards by Kate Greenaway.  It is marked Meriden Company 199 on the bottom.  It stand 3 1/2" high.  The base is 1 1/2" by 3 1/4".  It is in excellent condition.
