Antique Sad Iron C 8 and Howell Trivet, Hand Forged, 19th Century. Iron weighs 7lbs 3oz, 6 1/2" long, 4 3/4" tall. Embossed trivet is 5 7/8" long by 4 3/8 " at widest point. Iron has C embossed on top of a crest and the number 8 embossed on top of base. Both are solid cast iron. Iron is pitted and rusted and has metal handle. W.H. Howell Co. trivet in good condition with some rust. Not sure if these two were originally paired, but work well together. Antique Sad Iron C 8 and Howell Trivet, Hand Forged, 19th Century.
