Antique Grimwades "Summertime" Chintz Basket With Sugar & Creamer by Royal Winton 1930. This is a very rare set. The plate converts into a basket with the metal/rope handle. It can attach on any side. The plate measures 8.25" x 7" and has a chip/repair on one corner and a hairline on the bottom. (see last photo). The sugar bowl measures 2.25" tall x 2.75" wide. It has a tiny chip on one edge (2nd to last photo). The creamer measures 2.25" tall x 4.5" wide with handle and is in excellent condition. Royal Winton is an English brand of ceramics, made by Grimwades Limited, a Stoke-on-Trent based company founded in 1885. The brand is particularly associated with chintzware.
