Neoclassical motifs cover every inch of this ornate French purse frame.  Both sides feature an embossed acanthus leaf design at the top and sides.  The delicate handle/chain is threaded through engraved loops attached to flower basket motifs at each corner.  The frame corners on both sides have large abstract flowers.  There’s a rope-motif loop at the front of the frame, and a push-button clasp that snaps securely at the top.  The dimensions are 6.5 inches across the top, and 3 inches from the top of the flower baskets to the bottom of the frame on the sides.  The chain when doubled is 8 inches from the top, or 13 inches if pulled into a single chain through the side loops.  Single chain use allows purse to be hung from shoulder.
