Antique Early 1900s Weathervane Running Horse Repair/TLC Primitive Farm Piece

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING! This auctionis for what I believe is the top of a vintage weathervane, shaped into ahorse.  I believe it is from the late1800s or the early 1900s. It is being sold as I found it and it Needs Some TLCand Love! It could be made of zinc or tin, but I don’t know how to confirm thatother than similar ones that I saw online are made of that material. It islight in weight.   It measures about 9 ½”long by about 7 ½” tall, and would be excellent for cabinet or shelf display.   The horse’s head is bent to the right.  I am not sure if the bend if original, but Idid not want to break it, so I am leaving it as is.  It appears to be made in two pieces, and thepieces are separating in some spots, especially the left front foot, the backof the head, and on its back. Ibelieve the left front foot is where is was attached to the weather vaneitself. The left side of the chest is pushed in.   The back-left foot has a piece missing aboutthe ½” long.   It has a slit behind theleft of his jaw, and there is a piece missing out of the left side of his eye.  There is a crease on his chest seam with achip. There is also a chip in his main. It appears to have a rust patina.  I don’t know how to clean it, so I am listingit AS IS. All the flaws make it sound worse than it is.  It displays very nicely.  I am no expert on this horse,so please ask any questions that might be important to you BEFORE BIDDING.  The buyer is to pay shipping.
