It is made of oak and is mostly unpainted. Originally located in the master bedroom as the outer frame of a built in armoire. There are 2 fluted legs topped with fluted and carved corbels. The pediment across the top has fluting, raised bullseyes and a crown with carved corbels and ornate designs. The left side went against a wall, the right side did not and has the ornate return moldings. This would make a great door or window molding. Measurements are 60.25 inches wide by 100 tall. The opening is 52 x 79. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. Along the inner edges there are chips as well as screw and dowel holes. About Us My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting. Steve and Michelle Decade: 1890s, Material: Oak, Wood, Original/Reproduction: Antique Original, Features: Reclaimed, Salvage
