Description This is an extraordinary old trunk (exact age unknown) with fabulous large dovetailed joints on all four sides of the chest.  The top is two wide planks of wood and has lots of age-related wear marks.  There was originally a locking mechanism with an existing keyhole.  The porcelain knobs may be original or replacement.  The chest sits on top of a separate stand that has a small center drawer built into the frame.  The chest measurements are 33" long, 18" deep, 14" tall.  With the stand it is 28" tall.  The two pieces together weigh 38 1/2 lbs.  

Shipping:   Shipping will be via Greyhound Package Express and cost determined by location; Buyer will need to pick up at closest local Greyhound bus station that has a Package Express (please check the Greyhound Package Express website to determine how close/far a Greyhound Package Express is from your location.  Not all Greyhound stations offer Package Express.)  I will need your city, state, zip code and phone #.  PLEASE HOLD OFF ON PAYING INVOICE UNTIL AFTER ALL SHIPPING CHARGES HAVE BEEN DETERMINED AND ADDED TO THE INVOICE.  This may take 1-2 days.  You may also arrange your own shipping carrier; please contact me for address details.  Also, delivery to Austin, Dallas, Waco, Houston and San Antonio TX areas can be arranged for a fee.
