Her head was covered with 3 pieces of cloth crudely sewn on. I wonder if when the face faded they put on a new cover?. These are included. Doll is split at the crotch and looks to be stuffed with cotton. Up for auction I have this antique homemade primitive rag doll. I purchased this item at a local estate sale. This doll measures 19" long. She is all cloth. Very dirty. Her head was covered with 3 pieces of cloth crudely sewn on. I wonder if when the face faded they put on a new cover? These are included. She is wearing pantaloons that are pinned into the body at the waist. Doll is split at the crotch and looks to be stuffed with cotton. There were crude covers on each leg too. I took one off and left the other on as shown. You can see the leg is cleaner on the one I took off. I am not an expert, but this doll appears to me to be authentic and old.
