Antique 19th c. Japanese Samurai sword Blade Habaki lacquer scabbard - Sword blade is unsigned w/ The 7.5” long tang has 3 holes - blade’s edge is sharp but finish is poor condition rusted and nicks etc .. . -. . Fittings only include a habaki which I could not get off - new owner can try - if you win auction you will get what the photos show . . This blade is very old and hopefully someone out there can use and figure out the maker of this sword - Sword's measurements = Total length when sword is in Scabbard = 37-3/4” long /
Length of sword out of scabbard= 37” /Length of blade (from end to end) – 35-7/8” long / Blade's Edge – 26-1/4” . / Blade width near Tsuba / handle = 1-1/16” wide - /-
Tang length is about – 7-1/2” long. . Scabbard is about 28” long.. . Scabbard is Painted Lacquer over wood & is also in poor shape - wire wrapping tape to hold together the end of scabbard .. . Blade does not fit into scabbard its long - ..
