Up for sale is a Group Of 2 Antique 1870's era Aqua Glass ,Blown In The Mold, FOOD Containers, They are both in "MINT" to Near MINT Condition, each having crude manufacturer imperfections especially when making the tooled applied hand finished rolled lip collar mouths. These flaws are not chips but were made like that at the time they were being blown in the mold.
The first food type container is approximately 4 inches tall and 2 5/8 inches across the diameter of the base. It has blue aqua color glass and has a partial label still attached with NOLDS & CO NEW YORK CHICAGO still visible. There is a large S embossed on the bottom of the base.
The pickle jar container is also in great shape and measures approximately 7 inches tall and 2 inches square wide across each side of the base. Both of these bottles have crude imperfections, as I have mentioned, on the mouth lips and , in my opinion, are not damage after they were blown.
