The bowl is reddish-brown color with floral design layout. It also include white, orange, dark grey, yellow, and black. It is an early period when floral motifs and vegetable designs came into the iconography before violence of the Nazca culture which started taking trophy heads. The bowl was originally purchased from a gallery in Las Cruces, New Mexico . The bowl has large amounts manganese deposits from being buried for so long. The piece is guaranteed genuine and was made some time between 300 AD - 400 AD in the South Coastal Peru Nazca culture. It measures approximately 6-1/2 inches tall and 10 inches in diameter. The dish is in good condition although it once was broken but was reassembled with no plaster. The lines where the piece was broke and mended back are noticeable, there is also a crack.
