Seller: wear-the-past (2,024) 99.7%, Location: Salisbury, Ships to: Worldwide, Item: 371795308952 This is an ancient Greek bronze signet ring, dating to the 3rd century B.C. It has a wide oval bezel, engraved with a standing figure. From the build, it appears to represent Hercules, who was a popular subject for intaglios and signet rings during this period. The bezel appears to have been lightly cleaned in the past, coming from an old antiquarian collection in Berlin. Today it will still be possible to wear with care and would benefit further cleaning.
