Excavated in Mexico in the late 1930's. Sculpted from clay. Wearing a plumed looking headdress or military helmet, and looks to be holding a ear of maize. Signs of oxidation, and a NATURALLY, occurring patina developed over the course of several centuries. Exposed t0 wind, rain, heat, and soil. There are still remains of organic materials embedded in the design lines. All of the above information is the brief history given to me from the previous owners of the artifacts, INCLUDED in the sale of the 20+ piece lot I bought.
