This original early 2 Panel door was salvaged from an early 1800s homestead here in Bucks County, Pa. It features centuries-old Hard Pine wood from an old growth forest; Double Mortise & Tenon construction, all hand-made in the days before electricity with raised panels wide middle rail design. All hand-made & hand-planed thin stock boards with hand-pegged "square peg in round hole" joinery. Great natural wood surfaces with plenty of aged character & patina. Flat panel back has old flaking paint- easily removed. Measures 18 1/4" wide, 72" high, 1" thickness.
