ANTIQUE 19th VICTORAN FRENCH LUSH SILK VELVET RIBBON TRIM INK BLACK 23" x 1 7/8". PLEASE READ "CONDITION DESCRIPTION" ABOVE......authentic of the 19th century....satin underside....high silk fiber content, lush, buttery soft silk velvet ribbon trim fragment. This measures approximately 23" x 1 7/8". This is being sold "AS IS".
- Condition: SOLD "AS IS"......pure ink black silk velvet ribbon (crisp cotton base), finely ribbed areas with tiny silk flower motifs (pure silk)....in very good condition for its age, aside from one tiny tear near second motif from one end, which is not really noticeable. Any minor flaws are age-inherent. This is my only piece and my last. A lovely, unique treasure for the collector of hard-to-find ribbons of the 19th century. There are a total of 7 full motifs (half of one on one end)....small fragment..Photo 2 depicts ribbon fragment...
