Here is a great piece of currency from the 1862 $1 legal tender type. This is the first type of $1 issued by the federal government. The Freidberg number is 16c. This is a great note for a type set. This note is graded by PMG as About Uncirculated 58 with a comment about previously mounted and tear. Usually these are very ugly or uncirculated. A higher grade circulated note is fairly uncommon and saves you lots over an uncirculated example for pretty much the same eye appeal. You don't have to take my word for the grade of the note, you just have to trust PMG.
Shipping will be done by USPS Express mail. For most of the US, this arrives in one business day. Your note will be shipped within 2 business days from the end of the auction. Usually notes are shipped the next day, but sometimes I am traveling and unable to get items mailed.
We have a thirty day return policy after you have received the item. If you are unhappy for any reason, please e-mail me to let me know you are going to send the note back.
It is my mission to assist collectors of large and small size type complete their collecting goals. I have been collecting certain large and small series myself for several years and understand how collections are built. You won't see many colonials or obsoletes because I do not have a large amount of knowledge in these areas.
