A good large Neolithic Aboriginal Stone Hand Axe Collected in the late 1960's at Burra by a member of the South AustraIian Anthroplogical Society. The Society did field trips with the SA Museum. Items were catalogued and those items not required by the museum could be kept by the society members. This has a small catalogue number A525 and Burra written on it. 128mm long. A beautifully worked axe head.
