5 Vintage Germany Putz Wooly Sheep with Wood Stick Legs

These German antique woolly sheep figures are from the early 1900's.  They were often used in Christmas putz village scenes, though they were also marketed as a child's farm toy. 

These Miniature Figures stand approximately 2-1/4" high by 2-1/4" long.  They have wool covered clay or composition body and painted wooden stick legs.  The sheep still have their lacquered paper ribbon collars.  IN VINTAGE CONDITION - They are dirty from wear over the years.  One has loss his fuzzy wool surface and has paint chips on the face.  Two have chips on one side of their composition faces.  The legs are intact with no splits or chips but the paint has worn over the years.
