Seller: dynamoauctions (1,394) 100%, Location: Anderson, Indiana, Ships to: Free Local Pickup, Item: 282271568354 I have had this panel for many many years. I can only speculate where they came from, but I really do not know. The man I bought this from told me that these were from a church torn down in Hamilton County Indiana. I have no way of confirming this, but thought it necessary to share as I am sure I will field questions as to its origin. I purchased 5 panels at the time. All are different parables of the bible. The windows are stunning. I have them hanging in a west window of an old church that I live in and the comments I receive are never ending. Currently they have 2 large eye hooks in the top of the frame and hang on j-hooks secured to the wall. This makes this window easy to remove and rehang. The man I purchased the window from was a professional stained glass restoration man that had done many large municipal building restoration projects. As you can see in the images, there were cracks that were repaired with small joints. The window in my opinion has been repaired and restored very well. Remember though I AM NOT AN EXPERT AT STAINED GLASS WINDOWS !! The windows have been securely framed in Pine that measures 3" wide and 1 1/2" thick. Both inside and outside edges have been routered. It is a very heavy frame. The sealer is a natural color. Now for the measurements: These are my best measurements with a tape measure. Total Dimensions including the frame: 40 3/4" wide x 39 3/4" tall ... the frame is 1 1/2" thick. Dimensions of the glass window inside the frame: 34 3/4" wide x 33 3/4" tall"... note: The window has a dark glaze sealed at the edges...I am sure the window sits inside a routered groove so the exact dimensions of the window will be larger if you plan to remove the window from the frame. I would guess the restoration and framing costs on a window like this would be hundreds of dollars. I can only guess the weight. It is heavy. Best guess 70lbs. As you can see in the image, this panel is from the bible. "the parable of the fig tree" Terms of sale: Best case scenario is you come to my house, inspect and pick it up. ( I am located about 45 minutes northeast of Indianapolis ). I cannot ship or crate... I would not know how. I will meet your shipper here and assist as I can, but I am not a young man. I cannot be responsible for breakage. I certainly do not want a call after you receive it and want some sort of adjustment because you know more about stained glass windows than I do. So ask away any questions before you purchase. Window is sold AS IS. It is old. The warranty ran out a long time ago. This is an old window. Not reproduction ( I feel I have to say that). It has been restored, stabilized and framed. It has served me well for many years and will be a focal point of conversation in your home or? for many years to come. After all, we are just caretakers for these antiques.
