The building was built around 1880 but it's possible the freight elevator was installed in the early 20th century. The face of the call stations are fabricated of cast iron which are mounted to a steel mounting plate, all employing the original wooden electrical contact mounts. The units had a thin bronze plating which is still somewhat visible.Three of the stations are from the upper floors indicating Up and Down and one of the stations is from the basement with only one button. The units were completely cleaned and restored, saving all the original parts where possible. New bronze mounting screws and some smaller screws and electrical contact parts were used only where absolutely necessary and buttons replaced on all but the basement station which has the original button. The units are now fully functional and if you've got the elevator here's the buttons. Alternatively they can be used for doorbells or any other creative use. We ship exclusively to the continental USA Material: CAST IRON, STEEL, WOOD, BRONZE, BRASS, COPPER
