Check this out! Not necessarily a book but an old sketchbook that belonged to a man named William Dalby. I recovered this sketchbook in an estate sale! I did as much research as I could. William was born in North Devon England and went to Exeter college of Oxford where he attended from 1811 to 1815. He even became Dean and tutor of the college in 1825. He was very religious and worked his way up from reverend to rector of Compton Basset in 1844. Known mostly for his faith not many people knew he could draw like this except for his family. He did not exhibit but had talents beyond talent and served as a humble man. Most of the drawings are from a town in England called Ilfracombe. Most of the drawings were done from ther years 1858-1861. Hope you can enjoy this piece of history. The sketchbook has over 20 drawings. These were just a few. The book will be sold as is for a firm price. The book cover is old and the bind is fragile but still in tact. Own this piece of history! Message me if you’d like to know more
