The 5735/1975 Season's Greetings token commemorates Israel's 26th Anniversary. It depicts on its obverse the official 26th Anniversary emblem and the text SEASON'S GREETINGS. However, after shipment of a token to 3,000 IGCMC-subscribers, it was discovered that the text on the obverse is misspelled SEASON'S GREATINGS. A new batch of tokens was ordered, this time SEASON'S GREETINGS correctly spelled.
The token minted for presentation to AINA members has on its obverse three bows converging on the IGCMC logo. This design appears on the reverse of the regular tokens.
The error token was issued and mailed to 3,000 IGCMC subscribers during August/September 1974, towards Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) 5735, until the error was detected. Other subscribers received the corrected token shortly thereafter.
