Listing is for a complete set of the Great Books of the Western World  by Encyclopaedia Britannica.  This is the 2nd Edition, second printing and was released in 1991.  I have typically sold sets like these for much more when they are in excellent condition.  This set is in Good Condition  and priced accordingly.

There are 60 books altogether.

General Condition Notes:

  • Spine condition is VERY GOOD .  They look great on a shelf (with exception to volume 14).
  • Gold embellishments are bright and vibrant
  • Colors have little to no noticeable fading. 
  • Tops and bottoms have light bumping.  No tears.
  • Bindings feel tight.  
  • Cover conditions are mostly GOOD
  • Corners may have light to moderate bumping.  
  • Top page block has gilt that is mostly bright and vibrant. 
  • Page block condition is mostly GOOD .
