What sets this one apart even more is the serial B24312551A. Most of the 1934-A plates were used up shortly after the North Africa printing. They printed 1934-B from about serials B15xxxxxxA to B19xxxxxxA, and began 1934-C printing around serial B17xxxxxxA. For sale today is an interesting extremely high serial 1934-A $10 Silver Certificate. These were once redeemable for actual silver dollars and were the true workhorses of the American economy. Many people today have never seen a blue seal note. What sets this one apart even more is the serial B24312551A. Most of the 1934-A plates were used up shortly after the North Africa printing. They printed 1934-B from about serials B15xxxxxxA to B19xxxxxxA, and began 1934-C printing around serial B17xxxxxxA. There is no other denomination with a 1934-A note printed well into the 1934-C serials. I just personally find this extremely late serial fascinating, and it only has the numbers 1,2,3,4,5 in the serial too. The note grades Choice Fine to Very Fine in my opinion. Still intact with decent paper, clean margins and corners, good color on the printing, and no tears or pinholes. Has light contemporary pencil marking on back margin.
