Although labelled New Mexico, in 1885 New Mexico was still a territory until it was admitted to the Union in 1912. On the reverse is an 1885 map of Colorado. Counties are shown in different colors and railroads are shown as dark black lines with stations shown as small circles and the railroads are labelled with their abbreviated names. This map was tipped in to the atlas and may have the tipped in paper used to hold the map in the atlas still on the map (or remnants of the tipped in paper). The tipped in paper will have staple holes in it. The map was removed (by your seller) from Cram's Unrivaled Family Atlas Of The World published by Henry S. Stebbins of Wabash Avenue in Chicago and printed by Donohue & Henneberry - Twelfth Edition - Revised to September 1885. I have the atlas's title page - should you need a copy for reference, eBay message me and I will send you a digital photograph file of it.
