Adirondack Survery, Verplanck Colvin, Superintendent. Reconnaissance Map of the Lower Saranac Lake with sketch of the Adjacent Waters. Triangulation, Topography, etc by the Superintendent. Showing Lower Saranac Lake, Lonesome Pond (Kiwassa Lake), Miller Pond (Oseetah Lake), parts of the Saranac RIver, including what are now First and Second Ponds. Franklin County, Townships 21 and 24 of Macomb's Purchase. Condition. Largest flaw is the tears/holes at some of the corner folds. Paper is age toned but clean. This was at some point removed from the Seventh Annual Report on Progress of the Topographical Survey of the Adirondack Region of New York. There is minor damage to where it was attached to the book. The edge it a bit ragged here (on the lower third of the left edge) and there are two small tears to the margin which have been repaired with tape. These tears do intrude very minimally into the map plate area itself. I have shown these two tears in the images here. The edges and margins are otherwise intact with very little wear. Please zoom and examine all images closely. I will combine shipping when possible.
