Elmendorf D.D. From Young Men of the North Reformed Dutch Church of Brooklyn. Dated April 16th, 1864, this is 13” tall to the top of the ornate finial and about 10 1/2” wide from the back of the Acanthus Leaf Handle to the Spout. As you may be able to see, the top is hinged so that ice cubes can flow into the glasses along with the fluid in the pitcher. Weighing over 5 ½ pounds, this is in excellent antique condition with remarkably little wear to the plating. The finial has two heavily laden grape bunches. All of my silver has been lightly polished for its photo shoot but can always benefit from additional polishing. Please watch my listings for what I hope is an interesting and eclectic selection of other vintage and antique items. Age: 1864, Brand: Rogers Smith, Composition: Silverplate, Type: Pitchers & Jugs
