This is a solid heavy brass battle shoe/stirrup of the type worn by the Spanish Conquistadors as they attacked the Incas in Peru or in other places in the greater Latin America.. The shoe is 10" long, 5" tall and 5" wide. The area at the top of the shoe whee you see two "spikes" projecting and and a connecting circular piece was the place where leg armor reached the stirrup and connected o the foot armor.
