Authored by Hartmann Schedel (1440 - 1514) in Nuremberg, the engravers being Wilhelm Pleydenwurff (1460 - 1494) and Michael Wolgemuth (1434 - 1519). In great shape, as shown, slightly trimmed at the top, else stellar. Features 8 separate cuts featuring various portraits of Popes and ecclesiastical leaders, amongst which are Popes Boniface the 6th, Romanus, Theodore the 2nd, Anastasius, John Duns Scotus, and more , as well as attractive gothic font with some larger capitals.
