This is for a total of 10 (ten) antique handmade rosebud/rosette appliqués....the shade of pink is very old-fashioned.....charming....Note: Although photos depict four rosettes, it is for a total of eight.
These sweet, delicate rosebud appliqués are very scarce. Please note as aforementioned, that these are much more delicate and detailed in appearance than photos shown. They are ethereal-like and also perfect for fairy dolls, wedding-related items, doll hats, buttons, etc.
Please read "Condition Description" above...I cannot stress how lovely these truly are; they are so delicate and old-fashioned, life-like in appearance, and simply magical...Photos DO NOT do these justice when depicted at a closer view; these are finely detailed with tiny layers of gossamer-like rose petals with < 1/32" width delicate rosy pink silk or silk/rayon corded thread woven throughout the base. It has very fine copper metal wires on underside at center. No two rosebuds are alike and are all irregular in shape and size, varying slightly measurement. These have so many creative uses for one's project. French in origin....circa 20s-30s....NOS.....these will also dye very nicely.
