Sterling Silver Ink Sander / Shaker
by Sanborns, Mexico.
I strongly believe it's an ink sander, and not the salt shsker (holes are smaller than ones in typical salt shaker).
I found similar "siesta" shakers, with larger holes higher on the hat (for salt).
So this belong to the desk dressing.
It is an old item in Very Good condition.
No damages nor dents, just tiny scratches, mostly on the bottom.
Sombrero have a bayonet-type lock (see pics). Sombrero lock well and solid, don't fit flush to the body, may have a little gap here and there.
Require some cleaning before using - I left it to the new owner.
Weight is 39g.
