I am unfortunately selling my liquid silver 2002 Yamaha YZF-R1 that I bought brand new in '02.  It is in excellent condition.  This bike has been babied, and very well maintained.  I am moving and have a baby, and it's time for it to go.  This R1 has never been down, and has a clean title which I have in hand. 

This R1 came stock with about 150hp and weighs just over 400lbs.  This handles like a knife, and has unbelievable acceleration.  This bike also instills confidence in the rider.  I felt extremely confident on this bike from the first time I got on it.  This was the first year that Yamaha added the fuel injection on the R1, and it works beautifully. 

This R1 has a smoked double bubble windscreen for better wind deflection.  It has a fender eliminator kit that has flushed LED turn signals.  The front turn signals were removed and moved in place of the running lights.  This bike has a dry nitrous fogger system that adds 40hp.  I added a clutchless shift system for fun as well, although it is almost never used (it's tough to redline this bike on the street since it's so fast).  The tires are great condition Mezelers (the best tires).  I replaced the stock exhaust with a high-mount carbon fiber Micron pipe, very nice.  This bike stops great with steel-braided brake lines that I added. 

I have maintained this bike very well.  The oil was changed every 3000 miles and at the beginning of each riding season with the best Yamalube and a new filter each time.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with this bike.  It has been garage kept since day 1.  This is a great chance for you to own a quality bike that is in excellent condition.
