Beautiful Art Nouveau figural mosque with minaret made by Zolnay of Hungary in the early 20th century. This art pottery figurine is made of irridescent eosin ceramic (or porcelain?) with a greenish-gold hue. The bottom has the original label reading "ZOLNAY HUNGARY - 1868 - PECS - HAND-PAINTED". It stands 5.5" tall on a 2.75" diameter round base. The cresecent on top of the minaret is chipped off, but the one on top of the dome is intact. The base of the minaret has a repair and tiny chip (looks like it was glued back on) - see last two close up photos. Still, a beautiful Zolnay design. Bid to win it.
