Vintage set of Samsonite luggage.  One hard case 23x17" in nicely used condition.  The other is a carry on type bag 15x16".  Both are an off white color both are samsonite and they are a set.  As you can see from the pics they are in good used condition. Estate sale find.  What a great find, great luggage in nice shape.  All working zippers and latches.

Our shipping policy

Please understand we are in Southwest Florida half way down the coast.  Therefore shippers have to come down here to pickup items and drive them all the way back up the state.  We are not on a route, and if we are it is out of the way.  That is why shipping may sometimes seem high.  The other thing, no one, I mean no one, wants to get there items smashed or broken, so please understand to get it to you in one piece we go the extra mile with packing.  I hope this helps you to understand the shipping mystery.  I could charge more for the item, but I am here to sell, not hold on to items.  So I accept most reasonable offers and shipping is shipping.

Estate Found items

Estate found items are items we buy at estate sales, therefore they are all sold as is.  We have no way of knowing what the history is unless someone at the sale tells us.  I will only relay that information if I talk directly to an owner or family member.  I will list whatever information I can verify is from the owner or family member.  All estate items are not cleaned or reconditioned.  We just don’t have the time to polish or clean items.  If we do I will list as such.  So all estate listed items are sold AS IS , not cleaned or polished.

Please be aware our shipping policy includes packing with materials other than newspaper (but not limited to) it also includes boxing.  We take our items to the shipping store so there is time and mileage.  We all know what gas prices are like.  Our shipping prices reflect what the actual shipping is.  It is not a guess, and yes if you call you will get a quote(that has more than not proven to be inaccurate)  and experience has shown what you get over the phone is never what it really costs to ship! 

Odd shaped boxes, paintings, heavier items and oversized boxes always incur a higher shipping charge. Oversized pieces ship not by weight all the time, sometimes the volume of the box attributes to prices.  Lamps & large items require more care and bigger boxes. Even though the weight is light, the size makes up the difference.  That is per shipping store policy.

If you don’t agree to shipping charge please don’t buy the item.  You are always welcome to call or e mail us about shipping charges.  You can also arrange for your own shipping if you like.  We will help facilitate it in any way we can. I can supply you with a local shipping store number upon request and you can call and get a quote from them and take care of shipping charges yourself. 

Shipping includes the cost of the stamps, bubble wrap, boxes, envelopes, boxes, bags.

Description of Items (please read carefully)

We aim to describe all our items as we see them.  Unless otherwise specified items are used.   New items  are just that NEW!  All items are checked by two people.  We both look for different things and review our findings for your benefit.  If we miss-describe an item it is done by accident and in no way meant to falsely represent item.  If it says some wear, normal wear or normal use please allow for that in your decision making.  We will not refund because of normal wear and tear. If it is listed as such, that is the way it is.  You as the buyer should always ask any questions you might have before buying an item.  If you require more pictures we will do our best to get that to you.  We are not professional photographers so our best is our best. 

All items are sold "AS IS," and all sales are final, unless the item was not as described.  We will not issue a refund for items that are sold as described, because of issues regarding color, shade, size or just a change of mind.  Any refund shall be for the final auction price only, and the original shipping, handling, and insurance costs are not refundable, nor are the shipping, handling, and insurance costs relating to the return.  No refunds will be given if an item arrives damaged, unless insurance has been purchased. 

On sized items. If you receive the wrong sized item, we will refund you your purchase price and shipping if it is our error.  I know most people don’t, but I make mistakes once in a while, I AM HUMAN!! (I think)

If it doesn’t fit you I will consider a return, you will be responsible for shipping charges both ways.

Returns

Returns should be shipped insured, and the buyer is responsible for all shipping and insurance charges on returned items. The seller is not responsible if uninsured returns are lost or damaged in transit. Refunds will not be issued until the returned item is received back from the buyer, unless the item is lost, and proof of insurance is furnished to the seller. The seller will then refund the insured amount, as long as that amount does not exceed the final auction price, excluding shipping and handling costs, for the items.

Buyer

The winner of this auction must let me know within 2 days of how they are planning to pay. All payments are due within 4 days of auction end. Although I haven't had it happen often, occasionally I'll get a bidder who doesn't pay or doesn't communicate with me and I'm left holding the item they have decided they don't want after all.  Please don't bid if you have no intention of paying.  If you have an unexpected problem with payment please contact I and we'll try to work something out. A non-paying bidder warning will be sent after 7 days for all unpaid items and the item will be relisted. If extenuating circumstances indicate that a payment delay is anticipated, please contact us before bidding.
