Suzuki Harunobu was a Japanese designer of woodblock print artist in the Ukiyo-e style.  He was an innovator, the first to produce full-color prints in 1765, rendering obsolete the former modes of two and three color prints.I do not know if this is an original print since it was decoupaged to the board it is on, however it came from the estate of an elderly Japanese woman in Arizona.  I was intrigued by the beauty of this print and am offering it as a historic piece.  The board and decoupage appears to be from the era of 1970’s..  perhaps done as a preservation and was hanging on a wall.  The age and origin of the print is unknown.  It has inscription on the back “by Harunobu”. Measures approximately 8” x 6” x .5” Please review all photos, you can zoom in closer for condition and detail.  “A picture tells a thousand words”, Please contact us for answers to questions you may have that will help you make your buying decision.
