Vintage Hermes Model 109-10 MANUAL Adding Machine West Germany

PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN 3 DAYS.  WINNING BIDDER, PLEASE SEE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.  Check out my other auctions and save $$$ on shipping.  Up for auction is a Vintage Hermes Manual Adding Machine.  Machine appears to be in very good working condition.  I am not familiar with the hand crank adding machines, so please ask any questions you may have if you are familiar with this type of machine and I miss something.  The only issue I see to note is the piece that holds the roll of paper in has been substituted with a long screw and bolt.  Paper moves just fine with this substitution.  Printing appears to be working fine, also (see pic #8).  Machine is marked: Hermes-Precisa...Model 109-10...Serial No. OB34609...Made in West Germany.  I don't see any chips, cracks or repairs to the machine.  I believe this machine dates to the 1950's-1960's.  HEAVY ITEM.  Everything I sell is previously owned, so cleaning/polishing of items is always left up to the new owner.

I buy what I think is interesting, unique or useful not because I’m an expert on that item. Items I list will ALWAYS show signs of normal age and wear unless I state otherwise.  30-50 year old items will rarely ever look like it just came off a store shelf.  People used their things.  However, I will always do my best to point out any flaws such as: cracks, hairlines, chips, repairs, tears, stains, etc.  Pictures posted or requested are considered part of the description.  Questions answered below are also considered part of the description, so please scroll down past the posted pictures to see if potential bidders have asked anything.  Please try and ask questions at least 24 hours before ending time. I start packing items 24 hours before ending date and I may have to go off memory or I may not be able to answer the question at all. EVERYTHING IS SOLD IN “AS FOUND” CONDITION.  COOKWARE:  All cookware is described for the purpose for which it is intended...cooking.   Cookware is not described as a collectible.  If you view your cookware as a collectible, please ask questions you feel may be of importance.   

• PAYMENT OPTIONS:  Paypal Only.  PAYMENT DUE IN 3 DAYS.  Insurance & Delivery confirmation is included in shipping.  Any shipping costs that miscalculated at $1.00 or more will be refunded through Paypal. 

• WINNING BIDDER:  INVOICE WILL NOT BE SENT UNLESS YOU HAVE MADE MULTIPLE PURCHASES AND WE ARE COMBINING SHIPPING TO SAVE COSTS.  Click on the "Pay Now" button and proceed to checkout and select your preferred method of shipping.  Any shipping miscalculations of $1.00 or more will be reimbursed through Buyers Paypal account. 
  
•  SHIPPING: Shipping rate is calculated by the weight, box size and your zip code.  Buyer is responsible for selecting their preferred method of shipping.  Insurance and delivery confirmation are included in shipping cost.  THERE ARE NO HANDLING CHARGES.  I combine auctions as long as it is safe to do so. I no longer use UPS or Fedex. The surcharges ($8.00 +) that the drop-off centers charge in my area are outrageous and rarely ever save you money. As they put it: “They need to make money too”. Carrier will only reimburse for auction amount.  The post office does not consider an item “lost” until after 30 days, so a reimbursement claim cannot be filed until then. Damaged goods need to be taken to your local post office with all of the packing materials, so PLEASE DON’T THROW AWAY or you may not be reimbursed.  Auctions normally ship within 3 business days (excludes weekends & holidays) after payment is received.

• I ALWAYS NOTIFY BUYERS WHEN ITEM SHIPS.  FEEDBACK is left upon completion of transaction. Transaction is considered complete only when you have either notified me by email or through the feedback forum that your item has arrived.
