This is a vintage Globe Slicing Machine that cuts meats and cheeses. The label on the switch states "Globe Slicing Machine Co. Inc., New York, USA." It also mentions patent numbers, and the serial number. The motor bears a label from Delco Motor, Model 7143, Serial B-4-4, Phase 1, 110 volt, etc. (see photos). This was in an old storage building we are cleaning out. The motor runs and turns the blade, and the slicing depth knob adjusts the thickness of the slice by moving the plate. It is DIRTY and needs cleaning, but appears to be in pretty good shape; it also has beautiful original painted designs on it. It weighs about 80 pounds; I have no way to ship it (or lift it!), so it will have to be picked up, located in Northeast Georgia near I-85.
