Vintage Iris with Bible Unused "Sorry About Your Accident" CARD!
DESCRIPTION: Beautiful, vintage, unused Get Well card with original envelope! This lovely, cream-colored card features a vibrant, watercolor pansy with a blue ribbon and gold embossed trim, as well as a forested stream in the background. Each corner is accented with floral-filigree gold embossing. It reads, "Sorry About Your Accident." Both sides of the inside are printed. The left shows a bouquet of pansies with the following Bible verse:
"Be still, and know that I am God."
~Psalms 46:10
The right side reads:
"May He whose love
and compassion
Are freely for us outpoured,
Be with you to heal
and to strengthen
Till our health
is completely restored."
CONDITION: The card is in excellent, vintage condition with no marks, stains, writing, rips, or creases. The unused envelope is still in good condition too, but does show some mild yellowing due to age and also has a couple of places where the inner-flap stuck a little bit--came right apart and won't be visible oncee the envelope is sealed.
