VINTAGE JAPANESE POTTERY BAMBOO FORM
TEAPOT with FROG ON LID
You are being offered a Vintage Japanese Pottery Teapot in the form of an Amber Glazed Bamboo Tree Stem with a Nodule as its Unglazed Bottom and a Green Glazed Bamboo Branch as its Handle and Spout and there is a Green Glazed Frog on its Unglazed Lid. The Teapot is not signed and it doesn’t have any identifying marks, except “A29” incised on its Unglazed Bottom and even though it looks quite old, we believe it was probably made during the 20th Century. The Teapot stands 6½ inches high to the Top of its Handle and it measures a little over 3¾ inches in diameter. Two of the Green Leaves on the Spout are chipped and there is a chip on the Side of the Amber Pot; otherwise, the Teapot is in Very Good Condition without any other chips, cracks, scratches or repairs.
