UP FOR AUCTION IS A VINTAGE HOHNER ECHO HARP HARMONICA. WE ARE NOT MUSIC INSTRUMENTS EXPERTS BUT WE DID A LITTLE RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET AND BELIEVE IT TO BE A TREMOLO ECHO HARP 54/64, BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF HOLES. ALSO ONE SIDE LOOKS AS IF IT IS MARKED WITH A "C" AND THE OTHER SIDE LOOKS LIKE IT IS MARKED WITH A "G." THERE IS A PAGE OF ORIGINAL PAPERWORK INCLUDED, IT WAS PRINTED IN GERMANY AND TALKS ABOUT THE HISTORY OF HOHNER.
THE HARMONIC SAYS "TRADE MARK GRAND PRIX 1926, GRAND PRIX 1927, GESETZL GESCH M. HOHNER MADE IN GERMANY" ON ONE SIDE AND "THE ECHO HOHNER" ON THE OTHER. THE HARMONIC HAS BEAUTIFUL SCROLLWORK AND SEEMS TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION, WITH SOME WEAR. THERE IS A BIT OF VERY FINE GREEN SPOTS BY THE BRASS INSIDES AND THE FINISH ON THE WOOD HAS WORN OFF IN SOME LOCATIONS (SEE PHOTOS). SINCE WE DO NOT PLAY THE HARMONIC IT IS UNTESTED AND WE LEFT CLEANING TO THE NEW OWNER.
THE BOX IS A BIT ROUGH, IT HAS WEAR, TAPE AND THE LID HAS COME OFF AND HAS BEEN RETAPED. THE BACK HAS SOME HANDWRITING WE CAN REALLY MAKE IT OUT BUT SOME OF IT LOOKS LIKE THE DATE "12-23-40" (SEE PHOTO). PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION.
