These items come from an estate sale of a collector of small and penny dolls for display. Two antique, small dolls of very light material (celluloid perhaps) with movable arms and legs. (See photo.) Arms and legs attached with thin wire through body. Larger doll, 2 and 7/8 inches tall, is marked on back “AR” in a triangle and “427”, has green felt cap remnants on top-back of head and has minor damage at back side of body – photo of same available upon request. Bodies and limbs are painted and smaller doll has wear marks upon front of its body. White spot on nose of larger doll is loss of paint having been worn off, not a chip – also is one small paint loss spot on its forehead (not visible in photo). Smaller doll, 2½ inches tall, is marked on back “199”.
