This is a very nice example of a WW-II trench art hand made fighting knife. Aluminum and plexiglass handle. These were generally made from aircraft scrap. In the end of the handle is a picture of a airplane under the plexiglass. Looks to be made from a broken bayonet. Blade is one inch wide with blood grooves both sides and 8 7/8 in long. Handle is 4 3/4. Overall length of 13 1/2 inches. Quite a fine piece!!
Bid with confidence.
