- Doll is brand new – protective plastic is still on hands and feet
- ISSUE: the bottom part of one earring is missing (priced accordingly, but please see photo)

- Box and packaging materials are NOT in pristine condition.
- Hallmarked on the back with the Edith head collection trademark, and hand-numbered #961
- Also hallmarked on the upper back left thigh
Costume designer Edith Head (Paramount Pictures) designed this 2-piece gold lamé gown for actress Shirley Ross to wear in the big finale dance scene with Bob Hope in the movie, “The Big Broadcast of 1938.” Indiana doll designer, Robert Toner, was a fashion designer for Bill Blass before he began sculpting dolls.
Movie Info: Shirley Ross starred as “Cleo Fielding,” and co-starred with Bob Hope. (She also famously duetted with Hope on famous Academy Award-winning song "Thanks for the Memory.")
