It's not a fake or phony or copyl they never made copies of this. It's from 1921. 100% certain it is authentic. Sold as is. This is original has been authenticated by top Thompson enthusiasts and came from long time collector in the hobby. you can make a reasonable offer; don't be shy. worst i can say is "no." Also, there is a hole from use near where the barrel would be when the gun is inserted. 100% authentic. If you have a high dollar Class III Tommy collection. This would display nicely with you C and L Drums and your police/fbi cases. Author Tracy Hill is the only other person who owns a copy of this. He features in his Ultimate Thompson Book.
