The figure in brown terracotta, made from Nile river clay, she holds a bouquet of flowers against her breast with her right hand. Her left hand cradles a bird, circular earrings are visible and she wears her hair in the Roman-Greek style of the day. spots of adhered white calcium deposits from burial are evident. 5-7/8" (15cm) tall, 2-5/8" (6.7cm) at the widest, and 1" (2.54cm) front to back. Mounted and labeled on a polished wood plinth, the overall height is 6-3/4" (17.2cm). I will furnish a photocopy (laminated in clear plastic) of another Roman-Egypt deity for complete, permanent dating and culture documentation. A very nice Roman-Egyptian artifact, from a time when ancient Egypt was absorbing much of Graeco-Roman culture, museum quality arrangement, displays well.
