Seeburg teardrop speakers were produced from 1946 to 1955.       

There are at least five know variations of the teardrop speaker:

RS1-8        specifically for the Seeburg Trashcans 146, 147 and 148.  Also with the 100 series jukeboxes A, B, C, G and W.

RS2-8        same as RS1-8 with the addition of a volume control and a seperate On/Off Switch.

CVWS1-8    Bakelite Constant Voltage Wall Speaker specifically for the M100A and up.

CVWS2-8    Ivory painted Constant Voltage Wall Speaker specifically for the M100A and up.

CVS4-8         Various painted Constant Voltage Wall Speaker specifically for the M100A and up.

All models could be modified to be used with almost any other type jukebox or amplifier.  The output impedance on all teardrop speakers could be set to either 500 ohm (when used on remote control special master amplifiers) or on standard 8 ohms (when used with the jukebox amplifier)
