This bone china dinner plate was made by Royal Worcester and the pattern is Dunrobin. Made in England, it is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and comes with no sign of wear.
Bone china is considered to be the finest of porcelain products. It is strong and more translucent than basic porcelain and other fine varieties. Developed around the end of the 18th century, an Englishman by the name of Josiah Spode developed the formula by incorporating bone ash. This process continues to be used today.
