The bowl, having two small sections of the rim restored, sits on a small round circular base, the bottom sides taper up to a flange at the base of the rim. The rim being a vertical section 3/4" (1.9cm) wide, the exterior surface being partially covered with burial adhesions, the inside surface having a low gloss finish. 2-7/8" (7.3cm) tall, and 7" (17.8cm) diameter across the rim. Not sold mounted, furnished with the freestanding placard shown in the photos. I will furnish a color photocopy (laminated in clear plastic) of a similar attributed bowl for complete, permanent dating and culture documentation. A large ancient Roman artifact, displays very well, will look superb in that special location in your home or office.
