WEST Two minutes to your west you have Sanibel Island, there are 40-50 nice restaurants, many accessible by boat Sanibel is one of the most desirable vacation spot in FL. Hilton vacation club environment (there is one there) because of it’s all a natural setting and I mean every thing even the super markets are hard to find because they blend into the woods no glaring signage, there are height restrictions and no commercial sign's. Beaches unlimited, and check it out on Google it is one of the best shelling islands in the world. Google it and you will be impressed. If you are serious you must research this entire area it is gorgeous too much to include in this add, one last point on Sanibel other then your research, a third of the island facing the lot is Ding Darling national park forever pristine boating and fishing a few minutes from the lot.
